How much is the deductible for the trip cancellation insurance?

  • If the occurrence of an insured event is the result
    of illness, the policy holder shall bear 20 per cent
    of the reimbursable costs himself/herself, as a minimum, however, EUR 25,00 per person.
  • In each other insurance case the deductible of 25, - Euro per person will be charged.
  • The deductible is not applicable where a full inpatient
    hospital treatment became necessary byreason of unexpected serious illness.

Can I make a trip cancellation insurance when I`ll leave in 3 weeks for my holidays?

  • Yes, but only if the booking was done shortly before. The conclusion of the trip cancellation insurance must be done immediately upon booking of the voyage.

For how long is the enhanced Skipper`s  Insurance?
  • The enhanced Skippers liability insurance is valid for one year.
  • During this time, it can be used 6 weeks.
The annual policy for all types - has no limitation to 6 weeks of use.
Do I have to declare the 6-week use of the Skipper Insurance?

No, we trust our customers that you really sail only for 6 weeks a year.

When do I need the annual coverage for the enhanced Skippers liability insurance?
  • If you charter sometimes a sailing and sometimes a motor yacht.
  • If the sailing yacht is longer than 15 meters
  • If the motor yacht is longer than 13 meters.
  • If you charter yachts more than 6 weeks
Can I use the Skipper Insurance for a longer period or increase up to all types or longer yachts?

Yes! Extension and increase is no problem. You pay simply the premium difference.

Why should I make a deposit insurance?

Because the charter company will keep the deposit in whole or in part if during the trip a damage to the chartered yacht occurred.

How much is the deductible within the deposit insurance?

0,00 Euro, we don`t charge you any deductible or excess, you`ll have - according to the rules - full claim compensation.

Will I be insured if I have a deposit of 1.050, - euros, and pay only a premium of 90, - Euro?

No, this can lead to problems in claim-regulation. The deposit you pay the premium for (the marked deposit), should not be lower than the real paid deposit.

With a deposit of 1.050, - Euro, the premium of 135, - Euro has to be paid.
